Good bye Michigan

5/3/19
Today was my last day at Michigamme kindergarten. Within the last four days, I have learned so much and have experienced many valuable things.
Fourth and last day
My end project and goal was to make a board display outside the classroom. Each rocket has their face in it!

Since our theme was space, the night before Mrs. B and I went to the grocery store and bought some materials for a project. We bought: graham crackers, frosting, Twizzlers, candy corn, and Reeses Pieces. We were building a space ship out of food. (Even though the kids probably didn't need any more energy from sugar!)

We did a restorative circle and went around and talked about if we liked sharing. Some students were honest and said that they didn't like sharing. I think that this type of communication is so important in building an environment where kids can speak freely.

The class said goodbye to me and we took a group photo outside. Staying at the Brozovich's was really nice and so much fun! It was sad to say bye, but now as I am typing this, I am in the Detroit Airport eating a slider with my mom and ready to go home to begin my next adventure!
