Today Lauren and I thought of questions to ask the first graders about how their experience with us has been. The questions were:
1) What is something you taught us [Lauren and I]
2) What is something that a person who is thinking about becoming a teacher should know?
3) What was you favorite activity that we did?
4) Do you like it when students from Proctor come to help?
5) Did we surprise you...?
In the beginning of the interview one of us would say "Oh! I forgot to get that thing from the classroom." Then we would just hide behind a wall. While the other person was asking the questions, the person behind the wall would wait until they asked the last question. For the last question, Lauren (or I), would slowly go behind the kids and surprise them!
This was fun for Lauren and I because it was really funny. Some were really surprised and some were not fazed.
The answering for our questions was not great. Most of the time is was pure silence. Lauren is putting together a video of the talk for the presentation.
